This is A Course in Miracles
See with your spiritual eyes
It is a required course
Hear with your spiritual ears
Only the time you take it is voluntary
Holy Spirit tell me what to do,what to say,and what to think
Except for God's teachers there would be little hope of
salvation, for the world of sin would seem forever real.
How these teachings have helped me change my mind about the "reality" of illusions
These ways of looking at the illusion have supported me in letting go of my attachments to the dream. They have offered me substitutions for the ego’s perceptions, allowing me to move up the ladder of forgiveness. I want to see my brothers holy. I want to see the Face of Christ. I want to see the real world. These lessons make that seem possible.
I have learned of the ego’s characters: Huckle, Pruckle, Fuckle, and Muckle, the process of true forgiveness and most importantly how to live by the guidance of the Holy Spirit (right mind) rather than listening to the ego (wrong mind). This mind training changed my life and the miracles came.
Obviously, there can be no “reality” to an illusion. The lessons of “not making it real”, or true forgiveness, have shown me, most of all, that when I am not experiencing peace and certainty I am thinking with my character (ego), desperately trying to bring “reality” to the illusion. Learning to think with God is the ONLY way to peace and certainty, the only way to Reality.

The Problem: We have taken on a personalized identity separate from Source and chosen to believe that we are this self we made up. This is the cause of all suffering. The Solution: The undoing of our belief in this nonexistent personalized self. Once we undo the ego, what is left is our true Self. […]
There is no hope or stability in the illusion. The world is a hopeless and chaotic place. We spend our time trying desperately to find some hope or some order in the world, but that can never happen. We can make up a story that we experienced some spark of hope or some sense of […]
Here is a new way to think about sickness, healing, health, and the body. HEALTH IS THE NATURAL STATE OF THE BODY. The body cannot get sick. It cannot be in pain. It cannot age. It cannot die. We only made up a dream that it can. This is a radical way of thinking about […]
This is a reprint of an article from a section on our site called, The Process: Questions and Answers. By studying A Course in Miracles and embracing pure non-dualism we are attempting to enhance our conscious contact with God until it can be fully realized. We do this by practicing true forgiveness and true prayer. However, […]
Psychotherapy is the only form of therapy there is. Since only the mind can be sick, only the mind can be healed. Only the mind is in need of healing. This does not appear to be the case, for the manifestations of this world seem real indeed. Psychotherapy is necessary so that an individual can begin to question their reality. Sometimes he is able to start to open his mind without formal help, but even then it is always some change in his perception of interpersonal relationships that enables him to do so. Sometimes he needs a more structured, extended relationship with an “official” therapist. Either way, the task is the same; the patient must be helped to change his mind about the “reality” of illusions.(P.in)
The study and teaching of A Course in Miracles , both the text and the workbook , can be helpful in changing your mind about the reality of illusions. But mastering the practice of forgiveness can be accelerated by engaging in a holy relationship with a spiritual therapist.
If you are interested in being helped to change your mind about the “reality” of illusions, Spiritual Psychotherapy can be supportive. The “story” has a way of testing our faith in the insignificance of the illusion and tempting us to make it real. This can interfere with our effectiveness as teachers as we allow the Holy Spirit to speak through us.
